Basic Info

The string lights are controlled in the patio area of your unit.  They are set up on a timer to go on at sundown and turn off at 10pm.  If you would like to turn them off earlier there is an off-and-on switch by the big white rock on the patio.

There is a portable heater in the unit.  I can be controlled on the device or via remote.

There is an air purifier in the unit.  Please do not turn off or unplug this device.  It is set to "auto" mode and will adjust as necessary to keep the air clean.  At night between the device will run at its quietest setting and indicator lights will turn off.

You will find a fan in the unit for the rare occasion that the Coastside is uncomfortably warm.  If you do not see the fan out, please check the closet.

Feel free to use the grassy area adjacent to your Airbnb.  This area is shared with our family and our dogs** We love it when our guests make themselves at home so please do not hesitate to use this space from 10am to 8pm.

** Please note that if at any time you go through the gates to the grassy part of the yard, we do have a friendly border collie.  Feel free to say “hi” to Hula (female).  If you would like to avoid the dog, your AirBnB path and patio is inaccessible to her.

Please close the gates behind you when you go through them.

The two cruiser bikes near the upper gate (in the wooden shed) are yours to use during your stay.  We have provided a bike lock, and the key to the lock is on your keychain.  There is a quick release on the bike seat for easy adjustment.

The TV is brand new as of December 2022.  It is a smart TV.  Please feel free to login to your favorite streaming accounts and watch your favorite shows, movies, and sporting events. Don't forget to log out of your accounts before you depart.

You can find garbage and recyling cans in the wooded structure in front of your parking space.

You can find the portable crib in the white armoire.  There is also a crib sheet on the shelves in the armoire.

Occasionally we experience high winds or severe weather on the coastside.  In some instances, there weather conditions will cause power outages.  For current outage information please visit the PG&E outage map: PGE Outage Map

You may see out dog, Hula, in the backyard shared area.  She is extremely friendly and loves belly rubs.  She tends to spend most of her days inside our home - so you may or may not see her during your stay.
